Organic silicon: why drink a dose every day

- Categories :

For a long time, I was told about three-month courses of silicon. Over the years, I changed my mind. Organic silicon isn't a treatment you start and stop: it's a daily companion. Here's why — and at what pace.

What is organic silicon?

Silicon is a trace element naturally present in our bodies. Silicon described as organic is distinguished by a silicon-carbon bond: at Géomer, we chose MMST (monométhylsilanetriol), an organic form distinct from orthosilicic acid and plant-derived silicon.

Our standard can be summed up in one sentence: organic silicon dosed at a stable 1 200 mg/L, part of a complete range designed according to the holistic approach of traditional Chinese medicine. The stability of the dosage is the guarantee that what you drink today is identical to what you'll drink in six months.

Why a dose every day rather than a three-month course?

The logic of a "course" suggests you start, continue for a few weeks, then stop. But the body itself never takes a break. That's why I prefer to talk about a daily ritual rather than a one-off course.

A small glass every morning, the way you drink water, the way you look after yourself without thinking about it. The calm regularity of a gesture repeated day after day settles into the long term far more naturally than an intense effort of a few weeks that eventually gets abandoned. Those who have kept up this daily habit for years put it simply: what matters isn't intensity, it's never stopping.

Silicon and the passing of time

There's a reality observed over the years: the body's silicon level tends to decline naturally over the course of life. It isn't an inevitability to simply accept — it's just one more reason to make silicon a regular, faithful habit, rather than an occasional reflex.

Looking after your own terrain over time is a philosophy of consistency: you support your daily life with care, day after day, rather than in fits and starts.

One litre a month: the right pace

In practice, this ritual comes down to a simple benchmark: one dose a day, or roughly one litre a month. This isn't a commercial logic, it's a logic of regularity.

This is also what gives full meaning to the 4-litre pack format: four months of consistency ahead of you, with no risk of running short and no break in the rhythm. For a daily ritual, it's the most fitting format — and the most economical.

A direct lineage: from Duffaut to Fumay

This silicon is part of a long history. The work of Dr Norbert Duffaut, in Bordeaux from 1957, followed by the expertise of Philippe Voisin, an expert pharmacist, paved the way for organic silicon as we understand it today.

And this lineage is far from just a memory: today, it's Philippe Voisin's son who makes our silicon, here in Fumay, by my side. A direct handover, hand to hand — so that what you receive stays faithful, with no middleman, to this original source.

Silicium Forté or Silicium Vitalis?

Two organic silicons exist in the Géomer range: Silicium Forté and Silicium Vitalis. The choice depends on your ritual and preferences. In both cases, the principle stays the same: regularity comes first, and the pack format supports daily use over the long term.

Frequently asked questions

How much silicon should I drink per day?

The benchmark we recommend is a daily dose, or roughly one litre a month. Please refer to the instructions on your product for the exact measure.

Should I follow courses or drink it continuously?

Our approach favours regularity: a daily habit, over the long term, rather than a course of a few weeks followed by a break.

Which format should I choose for daily use?

The 4-litre pack corresponds to roughly four months of use at a rate of one dose a day. It's the format designed so you never have to interrupt the rhythm.
