Here are two main causes of hair loss
- Are you losing your hair and looking to find out where it comes from?
- Two of the main causes of sudden hair loss are genes and stress.
The most important are heredity and especially the stress of modern life
- Hair loss can be hereditary, but in this case it is usually not sudden. It happens over time. What is referred to as sudden is seeing large clumps of hair remaining on the brush, sink, or comb when brushing your hair each morning.
- Although this is common in "males" (hair loss men), this also happens to "females" (hair loss women).
- Severe stress has also been identified as a cause of sudden hair loss because it interferes with the internal workings of hormones in the body. This type of hair loss then becomes a drop called deficiency drop.
- This can be due to psychological stress or trauma to the body as a result of an accident or major surgery.
- People who experience sudden hair loss contact their doctor immediately to try to find out what is causing the loss. If there is no underlying stress or side effects from taking medication, sudden hair loss could be a warning sign of an early illness such as diabetes, lupus or even an infection of the scalp.
- Some people who experience sudden hair loss find that the problem is caused by DHT. This is usually what causes rapid hair loss due to genetic causes. This is also called a hormonal drop.
- Your doctor may prescribe a DHT as a shampoo or topical solution that will help slow down the effects of thinning hair and help part of the hair to grow back. But, it is well known that prescribed products have very little results. We regularly see a lot of negative opinions on the subject which can be read here >>.
- Of course, each case is different. What works well for one person may not work for another.
- One of the most serious causes of hair loss is a condition called alopecia. There are several forms of it, but there is no cure for it.
- The forms of alopecia are:
- Alopecia areata: In this form, patients experience sudden hair loss with loss leaving bald areas in different parts of the scalp.
- Alopecia totalis: It causes total loss of hair all over the scalp.
- Alopecia universalis: This is the complete loss of hair (total loss of hair and body hair all over the body). To find the causes, doctors first do blood tests to determine if there is an infection, a deficiency, or a hormonal problem. This is also called alopecia areata for which treatment is possible in click here >>
- Sudden hair loss in itself is a traumatic experience and people often rush out and buy all kinds of products to try and grow their hair back.
- These products probably won't work unless you have identified the underlying causes of your hair loss. It is important to do this first before purchasing any products that will not have any effect.
- For this purpose, we suggest that you complete a Hair Questionnaire in order to identify the type of hair loss you are suffering from and to be able to identify the products that are right for you to ensure hair regrowth.
- Sudden hair loss is not common, but happens in almost 6 in 10 people.
- Find out the cause before you do anything else, and talk to a serious specialist.
- The Laboratoire Géomer, a website largely devoted to hair loss, designed its care from basics of traditional Chinese medicine and obtains regrowth results in the majority of treated cases. Discover many verified testimonials >>
- To know the appropriate care (s), it is recommended to complete a Online Hair Diagnosis Questionnaire. Then a hair specialist will send you a prescription for what you need to regain your hair.
